As a Chartered Clinical Psychologist, I am registered and/or authorised to practice with the following organisations:

British Psychological Society (BPS) (www.bps.org.uk)
The BPS is the professional body for psychologists and promotes quality standards and ethical practice in the science, education and application of psychology. British Association for Behavioural & Cognitive Psychotherapies (BABCP) (www.babcp.com) The BABCP is the professional regulatory body for practitioners who specialise in cognitive behavioural therapy. The BABCP promotes the quality standards and ethical practice in the science, education and use of CBT treatments.

National Institute for Health & Clinical Excellence (NICE) (www.nice.org.uk)
NICE is the UK government agency which provides guidance to help health and social care professionals “deliver the best possible care based on the best available evidence”. This means that they recommend treatments and approaches that are based on clinical studies that prove its effectiveness. Its role is to ensure that all NHS services deliver treatments and care to the same quality standard.

Health & Care Professions Council (HCPC) (www.hpc-uk.org)
Is an independent, UK wide regulatory body responsible for setting and maintaining standards of professional training, performance and conduct of the sixteen healthcare professions that it regulates, of which Practitioner Psychologists are one.

British Association for Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies (BABCP)  (www.babcp.com)
Is a multi-disciplinary interest group for people involved in the practice and theory of behavioural and cognitive psychotherapy.
