Treatment and Fees
Prior to your first therapy appointment, you will receive a free telephone consultation with me, which will allow me to find out a little about the issues you are struggling with, answer any questions you may have about psychological therapy and for us to decide together, whether I would be able to help you.
Assuming that I will be able to offer you suitable therapy, following this initial contact, we will arrange for your first therapy session, during which I will discuss with you in more detail the therapy that I propose to carry out, how often I will need to see you, and what level of “buy-in” I will need from you for your therapy to succeed, yes sometimes “homework” is required.
It is essential that you are happy with both me and the type of therapy that I recommend and provide so, if at any time you do not understand anything, do not think that the therapy is working, or wish to stop seeing me, you are free to tell me at any stage – I may be able to recommend other options available to you, or another psychologist or therapist.
My fees will be discussed and agreed during your first, free telephone consultation, but once agreed, they will remain the same throughout the duration of your treatment.
Fees can be paid in cheque or cash. I am sorry I do not accept credit or debit card payments (yet).
Cancellations of appointments with less than 24 hours’ notice before the appointment date and time, or non-attendance at an appointment without a minimum of 24 hours’ notice, will be charged at the full rate.
